MYselect: Custom Bait Libraries for Sequence Capture in Targeted Sequencing
MYselect is a fully customizable liquid-phase DNA capture system for targeted sequencing. We have developed a proprietary technology to synthesize large long-oligonucleotide libraries on solid substrates. We have taken the best of the oligonucleotide synthesis chemistry (high yield, low cost phosphoramidite chemistry) and combined it with digital photolithography for maximum flexibility in parallel synthesis. By so doing, we can synthesize tens of thousands of different oligonucleotides in parallel on the same substrate. The main advantage of combining phosphoramidite chemistry, digital photolithography and liquid phase synthesis is oligonucleotide library synthesis at a reduced cost while maintaining a stepwise yield well above 99%. Oligonucleotides are cleaved off the substrate and converted into biotinylated RNA baits ready to capture your targeted sequences. Our technology permits highly flexible synthesis of any custom libraries with no upfront design cost or minimal order size. Human, Mouse and Rat (Now distributed by Prognosys Biosciences under the Rivia™) brand
All capture products targeting sequences from organisms included in the order Primates, infraorder Simiiformes (includes Human) and order Rodentia, subfamily Murinae (includes both Mouse and Rat) are exclusively distributed under the Rivia™) brand. All other organisms
MYselect target enrichment kits contain all the necessary reagents for capturing genomic DNA fragments with RNA baits and subsequently releasing enriched target sequences. Kits of any size are built as multiple of 20,000 baits. This leaves you the possibility to tailor your kit to the total length of the sequences you plan on targeting. [Download MYselect manual (pdf)]
Performance
The percentage of reads on target range from 60 to 80% depending the application. Even in difficult cases where baits designed from EST sequences were used to capture and de-novo sequence genes of interest from a complex plant genome, up to 80% of the reads were on target.
Flexible Bait Lengths
Thanks to our flexible technology, we can synthesize biotinylated baits as short as a few tens of bases and as long as 150 mers to accommodate our customer's needs. For standard capture, we recommend 120 mers baits. For special applications, we can also deliver DNA baits.
Experienced Design Team
Our design team has a decade of experience designing molecular probes. We have developed our own proprietary software to optimize bait design and consequently experimental success.
Platform Compatibility
MYselect kits are compatible with all major "Now-generation" sequencing platforms. Instructions for implementation with library construction kits are offered in the MYselect protocol.
